The person behind the chair

Neelo is the studio’s senior stylist, with more than nine years of experience across the chair and the bridal suite. Most of the work falls into two camps: considered colour — balayage, air touch, and the correction work that comes after someone else got it wrong — and bridal, where there is no second take.

Because Neelo takes every appointment herself, the diary is deliberately small. You are booking a person, not a slot.

What we are known for

Colour is the centre of the business. Balayage and air touch make up most of our colour diary, alongside highlights, root touch-ups, toner and full colour correction. On the treatment side we do keratin, gloss, perms and extensions — tape-in, micro bead and fusion.

Bridal is the other half. Full wedding packages, trials, and wedding-day hair and makeup, with over nine years of bridal work behind her. A wedding morning has no undo button, which is why Neelo insists on a trial for every bride rather than treating it as an upsell.

Alongside that: precision cuts, blowouts, updos, curly styling, kids’ cuts, soft glam makeup, and eyebrow wax and tint. Colour starts at $45, cuts at $30, treatments at $25, makeup and brows at $25, and bridal packages at $185.

How an appointment works

Every colour appointment starts with a conversation about what you actually want and what your hair will realistically do — including when the honest answer is that it will take more than one visit. Balayage on previously coloured hair is the usual example: one session gets you most of the way, two gets it right.
